NORTHWEST MONTANA FISHING REPORT FOR WK OF 2/2/12

Chancy at Snappys in Kalispell says, the Ice is holding up pretty good for perch fishing on Murphy’s lake with some decent pike as well. The Lower Stillwater has had reports of nice fish at the Upper end. Lake Mary Ronan’s south end towards Camp-Tuffit looks good in 20 ft of water for perch and rainbows. The Bitterroot is frozen and kinda slow for kokanee but folks are fishing it with 5-7 inches of ice at the south end. Ashley is frozen with about 10 inches of ice bit sloppy on top in some areas for perch and kokanee. And Swan Lake has had reports of kokanee.
