Marvin and Connie Loomis moved onto Fort Peck Reservoir a couple weeks ago. They are on the east side of the bay, pretty much out of the wind and waves and provided this report:

We are sure glad to be back on the water. We have only had a couple days of fishing, been catching walleye, northern and lots of small mouth bass. The biggest walleye so far is a 29 inch male. We have also had some pretty windy days. So far this year the boys are catching perch, catfish and northern’s, off the back deck of the house boats. They are nice size perch.

In the picture to the right, our friend Curly Olson holds a male walleye he caught.  Olson came down to visit, so we went fishing a couple hours. The fish was released. Walleye and northern pike fishing should start picking up soon.
