Good Fishing in the Fort Peck Reservoir Loomis Fishing Report

On Friday, the wind is 25-30 miles an hour out of the East, making for some rough water. We have had an inch of rain, which is good because we sure needed that for the hay and crops.

The fishing has been good all week and they are bringing in there limit of walleye, smallmouth bass and quite a few gators (northern pike), and perch.

Kaiden caught 20 perch off the back the house boat yesterday afternoon, all nice sized eaters.

We had a 6.5 pound smallmouth bass, and quite a few others in the 4.5 – 5 pound range.

Also, a 10.5 pound walleye and a 7 pound walleye were caught and released.  There were a  couple in the 6 pound range that were also released.

The biggest gator landed this week was 17 pounds. But those that got away were reeeeeal big.

We have a couple openings for July, you can email us at trophyfish@midrivers.com

Hope you all have a great week, fish safe–keep an eye on the sky.
