Kasey Richardson, of Darby, Montana, shot an awesome mule deer buck in the 250 hunting district, down the Bitterroot valley, early Saturday morning.
“We were the only ones up the road,” she said, “and I saw him watching some does and passed him up, but then came back and shot him”.
Kasey is no newbie to the Montana hunting scene, but drawing this 250 tag was a good deal for her this year. Rather than traveling seven hours east to hunt mule deer on her family’s annual trip, she cut her traveling time and costs down drastically by using her local tag!
