What are you eating this fine Sunday morning? Well I got my hands on a recipe that you are surely to enjoy, it only takes one pan, two ingredients and fisherman like yourselves. Put that trout to use in the morning and make this tasty fried trout with bacon this morning and have a tasty start to your day!

What You Need:

thick Bacon (quantity to your liking)

four trout with heads and tail on

one cup yellow cornmeal

salt and pepper

one third cup vegetable oil

What You Do:

Fry the bacon (I am sure we all know how to do that). Get those pieces nice and drained on paper towels and set aside. Keep that bacon fat in the pan.

Rinse your fish, dredge in cornmeal and get it all seasoned up on both sides to your liking with salt and pepper.

Add the vegetable oil to the bacon fat, heat the pan on medium heat until oil is hot and ready.

It is time to fry the fish in the oil/fat combo for about 5 min on each side until the skin is golden and crispy.

Garnish that fish with bacon and your set!
