Spring time is coming up very fast in Montana. I will be heading to Bozeman this weekend to attend the FOAM meeting. This is where the outfitters and guides get together and have a meeting on how different things affect our business. Topics that are covered range from invasive species and new regulations. I feel that is good to be involved with what is going on with the Montana Rivers and its laws.
I will get to see firsthand how the rivers are doing across the state from the lower Clark Fork River up to its head waters. It is a distance of about 360 miles. I will also take a sneak peak at the Bitterroot River and the Blackfoot River on my way across the large state of Montana.
While in Bozeman I will be fly fishing the Madison River out of my handmade wooden drift boat. It is pretty cool to float in something you made from wood. Stay tuned for upcoming Post for Montana Fishing Company.
If you would like to book a guided fly fishing trip with Scott Anderson, please visit his web site at www.montanafishingcompany.com or just give him a call. 406-210-0971.
Next week we will be talking about the famous SKWALA stone fly hatch on the Bitterroot River! Be sure not to miss this one.
