The elk are multiplying this week in southwest Montana! Yellowstone National Park post this video of a new elk calf near the Albright Visitor Center in Mammoth Hot Springs. It took 19 minutes for the calf to stand after birth.
These photo’s were taken of a calf being born June 3rd at Don and Dee Laubach’s home in Gardiner Montana. Just think, after all that work, mama still has to keep this one safe from predators.
