Summer Activities Offered at Three Ski Resorts Around Montana!

You don’t have to wait for ski season to enjoy the views from a top three different ski resorts around Montana. Snowbowl, Whitefish Mountain, and Big Sky will keep your summer filled with fun. Check out all the great activities they have to offer:

Summer at Missoula’s Snowbowl
The local’s favorite ski resort will be offering the following activities this summer: Chair Lift Rides, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Folf, Wild Flowers, Pizza, Weddings, Huckleberries, Fun!

Opening on Saturday, June 29 then Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until September 8
Chairlift Open: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Adults: $8.00; Children (6-12) and Seniors (62+): $5.50; Children (5 and under): FREE. To chairlift your bike: $2.00. Tickets good all day for unlimited rides.

Whitefish Mountain Resort

Whitefish Mountain is adding five new mountain bike trails this summer, which will more than double the resort’s lift-accessed downhill biking terrain. Lower sections of the new trails are already open and accessible. All sections of new trails are expected be completed by mid-summer.

Whitefish also offers an alpine slide, more than a mile of zip lines, huckleberry picking, guided nature tours in the forest canopy and an aerial adventure park, where harnessed participants cross suspended bridges and cable walkways, climb on nets and ladders and swing on trapezes. http://skiwhitefish.com

Big Sky 

Montana’s most famous ski resort is offering a new way to explore Long Peak. They added the Lone Peak Expedition, which involves a tram ride to the top of the summit of Lone Mountain at 11,166 feet. Then visitors explore and travel to the base of the tram in a safari-style truck.

Big Sky Resort is also adding a new zip line offering with its guided Adventure Zipline Tour, where guides point out interesting facts about the surrounding mountain ranges. Other summer activities at Big Sky include a high ropes course, paintball, laser tag, archery, guided hikes, a giant swing, bungee trampoline and climbing wall. www.bigskyresort.com
