The Captain will be headed to Burke Ranch Outfitters for a guided elk hunt; a trip he looks forward to every fall.
Burke Ranch Outfitters is located in northeastern Montana, 60 miles south of Glasgow, on the famous Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge (CMR). The ranch and outfitting are situated in the heart of the Missouri Breaks and borders the Fort Peck Reservoir which enables them to get clients to the prime hunting and fishing areas. Burke Ranch Outfitters is one of the few outfitters licensed to operate on the CMR, and are known for trophy deer, elk, antelope and walleye.
Among the successful hunters that took home their trophy animals with Burke Ranch Outfitters, Jake Lake shot his monster bow at just FIVE yards–click HERE for his story and to see a picture of his bull. To check out pictures from other hunts with Burke Ranch Outfitters and/or to book your own guided hunt, visit http://www.burkeranchoutfitters.com.
Check out the video below from the Captain’s prior trip, the accommodations look pretty plush. Should be a great trip!
