Looking for Winter Fun? Try Ice Skating at Bannack Ghost Town!

Cabin fever got you down? Try getting out and enjoying one of Montana’s state parks this winter by ice skating on the dredge pond at Bannack State Park. The park maintains a warming house and consistent ice each weekend from December 26 through the first weekend in March.

In addition to keeping the ice maintained, they also have a warming house which is open 11:00 am to 5:00pm on weekends. Skates are available to use or bring your won. Hot drinks, videos, and gifts are also offered in the warming house.

Montana residents are entitled to free daily entrance to all Montana State Parks through payment of vehicle registration fees.
Out-of-state residents/Non-Montana Registered Vehicles:
$5.00/Vehicle
Bicyclists or Walk-ins: $3.00/person
Commercial/Bus Passengers: $3.00/Person
