timbersledDo you ride a dirt bike in the summer and dread parking your bike for the winter?  Well, when you have a Timbersled, you don’t have to park the dirt bike…technically.

The Timbersled business is based out of Sandpoint, Idaho, and they make kits to turn your dirt bike into an awesome snow machine!  Yes, a dirt bike with a ski for the front tire and tracks for the back.  These kits can seem quite pricey to some, but the people that I do know that have invested in them would not trade theirs for the world.  The short track kits are approximately $5,200, while the long track kits are $5,900.  If you are looking for a snow cross racing machine that is good for rough terrain riding, then you will want to go with the SX track, which is priced at $6,100.  You will also need a pretty powerful dirt bike, which means that mine, for example, being a four-stroke Honda 250R, would probably not be ideal.
