Living in Montana we are used to the occasional unexpected run-in with wildlife, but this black bear recently took things a step further and made itself at home Goldilocks style, by finding a hammock that was “just right” and kicked back for a break.
This black bear was cruising through a Florida neighborhood last week and spotted a hammock in one resident’s back yard. It must have been comfy because it lounged in the hammock for about 20 minutes. That was when a neighbor was able to snap a few photos of the bear before it rolled out of the hammock and went his merry way.
If you haven’t already hung your hammock for the summer, you might want to do that this weekend. It seems to be one of the “bear necessities” for the summer season!
