Elk Fever
Free Family Fun Event!
Saturday, August 9, 2014, 9am-3pm
Harvest Church in the Heights, located at 1235 Wicks Ln W in Billings, will be hosting “Elk Fever” on August 9. The exciting purpose of “Elk Fever” is three-fold: Elk Fever is all about celebrating the soon kick-off of the upcoming 2014 elk-hunting season. It’s is all about educating hunters as they prepare for their successful upcoming season. And Elk Fever is all about exposing families and the community to multiple fun elk hunting activities.
Activities
All Elk Fever activities will be free of charge and the entire family is encouraged to participate in the fun. Activities will include: An incredibly designed kid’s hunting experience which will include guided land navigation, tracking / blood trails, camo face painting, an obstacle course, calling (free bugle for all kids while supplies last), an archery range, the Daisy Inflatable BB Gun Range, where we will be teaching youth how to properly and safely shoot a BB Gun. A fun activity for everyone!
Vendors and Guest Speakers
There will also be an array of hunting specialty vendors for everyone to browse and three guest speakers to hear from. The keynote guest speaker for the event will be David Allen, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation President.
