While hunting with a Friend last week we came upon a piece of a squirrel tail laying on top of our tracks we made on our way into the area we were hunting. Further investigation revealed the kill site of the squirrel. Although we weren’t successful hunting that day a local bird of prey was!
Kill site found by the author. The only remains were a little fur and the tip of the tail.
The animal sign found while hunting adds to the experience. Bad for the squirrel, good for the bird and interesting for hunters.
