Hunting:

Migratory bird season is wrapping up for the season and we have a little wait until Spring Turkey and Bear are ready to kick-off in April. If you had a great season make sure to bring pictures down of your successful hunts or catches and post them on our bulletin board.

Fishing:

Canyon Ferry: Ice has been pretty solid by the silos. Ice is good from Silos boat ramp to about a mile down toward the duck ponds. The north end is ice is still a bit spotty but there are some areas that are sitting on 5” but be wary of open water as well.   The north-end has some good early morning and late evening to night fishing for ling and walleye.

Causeway: has solid ice about 7” and people have been doing pretty well with trout in 10-15 feet of water. Bites are infrequent but if you’ve got a day out on the ice you’ll have enough Perch for a good meal.

Holter Lake: also has some good ice about 7”-12”, and the perch bite is on we’ve had a couple of 50+ perch days already in the last week.
