The wolf harvest numbers are still on the rise in Montana.  The total harvest, as of January 4, 2015 has reached 123, with all Wolf Management Units (WMU) remaining open with the exception of 313.  Twenty-two wolves have been taken by trappers and 111 have been taken by hunters.  For more information on wolf hunting and trapping in Montana, along with a map of Montana’s WMUs, click here.

For those canine hunters and trappers interested in meeting other like-minded sportsmen, keep the weekend of January 16-18 open for the 1st Annual Sanders County Great Montana Coyote and Wolf Hunt.  You can find more information on the event by clicking here and by sending an email here.
