There were a total of 43 anglers at Hilltop Hitchen Post and “lots and lots” of salmon caught that measured 12” and under. It rained all day on Sunday, but everyone had fun. There were only three rainbows entered and prize money was given to all three.
An incident occurred where two elderly men went through a pressure ridge and into the lake 200’ deep. They lost their four wheeler, but they were rescued with the help of a lot of a lot of people. The four wheeler is still in the lake. This serves as a reminder to be careful out there.
