While hiking along South Fork Bear Creek in the Bitterroot Mountains recently I found the remnants of an old trapline. I captured the history for posterity and for my own curiosity. Unique finds like this one are becoming more rare as the years pass by – One thing that hasn’t changed is the number of mosquitos which is why my bandanna is pulled over my ears!
I would love to know your thoughts on this video – on the history of trappers and other rugged people who thrived in this landscape! If you know of other unique finds like this let us know that too!
