Fishing:
ICE REPORT: It’s still early in the season so please take precautions and continue to check ice thickness. Stay safe!
Causeway: Ice is coming in…the causeway is already six inches in spots. We’ve had a few of our guys out already and they hooked up on Ling, Perch, and trout. Trout bite was particularly hot, ling will continue to pick-up throughout the winter. We’d recommend using some Swedish Pimples tipped with worms or smelt (smelt will be the go to for ling). With warm weather this week please be extra careful as ice conditions are subject to change.
Holding Reservoir: also is starting to ice over…but we’d recommend holding off a bit until thickness because more reliable. We’ve gotten reports of ice thickness of about 4” in spots.
