What Is Blowing Up the Weather Radar In South Dakota?

The US National Weather Service Aberdeen South Dakota‘s Facebook page posted about the radar “lighting up once again”…but, it isn’t from weather!

Here’s what they stated:
Despite blue skies, radar is lighting up once again this morning due to mass amounts of geese taking flight. Perhaps they can sense the record or near record warmth brewing? 3-6-16
