Montana’s wolf trapping season opened on December 15th, and as of Sunday, December 18th, there was one wolf harvested by trappers listed on the FWP website. This one came from Wolf Management Unit 390, which covers the majority of the southern half of central to eastern Montana. Wolf hunters are continuing to increase the number of wolves harvested in the state. Good work, wolf hunters and trappers–keep it up!
