With all this winter weather means AWESOME fishing at Hebgen Lake!  Here’s Cris Shulz’s latest fishing report from the ice down there:

Another winter week gone by brings more reports of terrific Ice Fishing at Hebgen Lake!  Action remains consistent in the usual areas of Kirkwood Marina, Yellowstone Holiday Narrows, and Fishermans Access on the south side of the Madison Arm.  Large rainbows, Browns and Mountain Whitefish are taking colored jigs tipped with sucker meat or Maggots and Mealworms.  Ice thickness is pretty consistent between 16″ and 24″ with a little slush.  New snow and warmer weather  this week will complicate travel on the ice with slush depths increasing.

Visit Kirkwood Marina for supplies on Weekends and come show us your catch and talk “Fishin”!
