Cody, WY-July 17, 2017– Yellowstone Country Bear Hunters Association will be changing their name and logo effective August 1st. Yellowstone Country Bear Hunters Association (YCBHA) will now be operating under the name “Western Bear Foundation”.

“It was time to make a change”. Said Joe Kondelis, President of YCBHA. “Our core values and goals will remain the same, we will still be dedicated to the protection and conservation of bears, bear habitat and the sport of bear hunting in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. The new name gives us a broader reach, it will allow us to work more effectively in states outside of our initial footprint.

After years of steady growth, the organization has been realizing the need for a more streamlined nameand logo that would better represent the ideals and goals of the organization. The will also allow for the Western Bear Foundation to branch out into more states with a larger footprint allowing us to become the go to conservation organization for bears and bear hunters in the Western United States.

Yellowstone Country Bear Hunters Association is a 501c3 Non-Profit was founded in 2010. YCBHA is dedicated to the protection and development of bears and bear hunting in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.
