Upper Madison Fishing Report 10.2.17

Here is the Upper Madison fishing report from Montana Troutfitters out of Bozeman as of October 2, 2017:

Blue winged olives are all over, but only a few fish are looking up. Don’t forget the soft hackle and nymph versions of these bugs if those fish arent eating on the surface.  Throughout the day a smaller chubby will pick up some fish with a dropper beneath it. The sculpin bite will be getting better and better with natural colors being more of a standout at the time.Dont ​afraid to huck some larger meat out here right now either. There have been some bigger fish moving for slightly larger patterns such as white sex dungeons and sculpin patterns in natural colors.
