A new fishing access site is being considered along Prickly Pear Creek near Clancy.

The Helena Independent Record reported Tuesday the proposed site will be considered by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks this week.

The IR reported FWP will decide on Thursday whether to proceed with public comment on the “acquisition of a nearly 50-acre lot located 1.5 miles north of Clancy and 8.5 miles south of Helena. The narrow property provides eight-tenths of a mile of creek frontage and two small gravel pits turned ponds.”

What do you think about a new fishing access in that area?
