Jim Craig reports as of Wednesday (3-14-18) evening “There is still no access to Crooked Creek. The snow makes it impossible to get there. At the Commission meeting Wednesday of last week for Petroleum County we talked to them of this problem. They state it is recreation not a business and has the last priority to be plowed. We were told they would get back to us that afternoon about their decision on the matter. It isWednesday, a week later and we still have not heard from anyone. At the meeting they mentioned that they would hopefully plow the county road on Friday. I am hoping to have things open April 1st. So for those of you who need to get your campers or equipment out you will have to wait and watch Facebook if things change. We are waiting as you are for this problem to be solved.”
