Here is the June 11th Blackfoot fishing report from Kingfisher Fly Shop.  With water levels dropping, it’s starting to look good for anglers!

The Blackfoot has continued to drop and is starting to come alive. The fish will be pushed up in the willows and on the banks. Ripping streamers off the bank or throwing a salmonfly or a goldenstone tight to the willows is the way to go. Drop a prince nymph, rubber legs, CDC pheasant tail, pearl green lightning bug, or a San Juan off your salmonfly and hold on. Still no real big numbers of salmonflies yet, but they are in the system and you’ll find some fish willing to eat the dry. For streamers try head banger sculpins, sculpzillas, Big Horn buggers, zoo cougars, and meat whistles.
