Canyon Ferry:  Rainbow trout are being caught from shore throughout the reservoir using worms and/or marshmallows and jigs. Rainbow trout are also being caught by boat anglers using worm harnesses. Walleye and yellow perch are being caught throughout the reservoir trolling worm harnesses, tipped with worms or leeches, in 5 to 40 feet of water. Walleye and perch are also being caught from shore throughout the reservoir in 10 to 25 feet of water using jigs (standard and floating) or slip bobber rigs tipped with worms or leeches.  Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena

Hauser:  A few rainbows are being caught from shore below Canyon Ferry Dam while using worms.  Boat anglers are catching rainbows between Riverside and Spokane Bay while drifting jigs and worms or while trolling crankbaits.  Walleye and perch are being caught in the Causeway on jigs tipped with a worm or leech.  Walleye are also being caught at night from shore at the Causeway Bridge.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter:  Rainbow fishing is good in upper Holter around Gates of the Mountains on flies or worms. Shore fishing for rainbows is slow.  Perch and walleye are being caught around weedy areas in 15 to 30 feet of water while vertical jigging with worms or leeches.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
