The weather starting Sunday and through Tuesday was not good.  Cold temps and rain. The salmon fishing wasn’t any better. However, once the weather got better, the Salmon started to to bite on Wednesday.  The Captain and Berny hooked 4 Salmon and boated two.  The salmon were all small, but, hey–they were salmon!

Oh, they forgot to report that they boated a 12 salmon. 12 inches–not pounds, that is, on Tuesday!  It was the Captain’s salmon fishing on Fort Peck final trip.  All in all, it was as a great season.  Over 40 Salmon boated–all small except for the 20 pounder that Jim Johnson caught while fishing with the Captain.

Nice work!
