Crock pot cooking is simple and tasty! Whether using venison, elk, antelope, moose or other wild game, this recipe is a reliable friend. The slow cooking will tenderize the meat and blend the flavors into a rich and flavorful meal. Make some fresh biscuits or cornbread and the meal is complete.

This recipe is a perfect winter meal. Combine all the ingredients, stir, and forget about it for 8 hours.

Ingredients;

2 pounds of cubed meat

1 can of condensed mushroom soup

Minced garlic, about 2 cloves

1/2 cup of water

2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

Packet of onion soup mix

2 cups of sautéed mushrooms

1 cup of diced onion

1 packet of cream cheese

1 sack of egg noodles

Combine everything in the crock pot except the mushrooms, cream cheese, and noodles. They will be added at the end just before serving. Cook the noodles separately and dump the stroganoff on top.

I often sprinkle paprika on top at the end. A sprig of parsley also makes for a nice presentation.

This meal is hearty, consistent, and always enjoyed!
