Two Shows In One. The Great Rockies Sportshow Teams Up With the Spring Boat Show in Helena

Now two shows in one.  The Great Rockies Sportshow in Helena and the Spring Boat Show is the largest presentation of fishing, hunting, boats, RVs, travel and outdoor products/services in Lewis & Clark County.

Three days of summer fun in February?  That’s what’s happening in Helena.  The Great Rockies Sportshow returns to Helena with more fun and adventure than ever before.   The annual three-day event is the largest presentation of fishing, hunting, boats, RVs, travel and outdoor products in Lewis & Clark County.   Not only can visitors buy outdoor-related products they can also book their next vacation to Alaska/Canada/Africa or buy a new boat or RV.   Door prizes all weekend long.

New this year is the Spring Boat Show, co-located alongside the Great Rockies Sportshow.  The new Spring Boat Show is presented by High Country Boats and features a huge selection and variety of boats from area dealers such as High Country Boats, Wallace Marine and Whitefish Marine.

Lots of children and family activities all weekend.  Fun kids activities include the Kids catch and release Trout Pond, Yankee Joe’s Gemstone & Fossil Mining, Kids Corner, courtesy of Montana Trappers Association (kids corner, trackID/stamping, color/activity book giveaway, hands on pelt display).

Learning is a fun part of the show and seminars are going on all day long. Seminars topics include Jigging Montana Walleyesby Jason Mundell. Dutch Oven Cookingby Colleen Sloan, How To Debone Pikeby Montana Pikemasters, Outdoor Photography Secretsby Arnie Gidlow, Fishing for Salmon at Fort Peck Reservoirby Jason Mundell and Cranking Walleyes Under the Big Skyby Scott Collingsworth.

Fly Tying seminars will be held all weekend long at the Fly Tying Theater.
