It was hard to believe that 18 years had passed since I last skied at Showdown Montana ski area in the Little Belt Mountains. Boy, was I in for a treat. The runs were wide and groomed, the lift lines almost nonexistent and the snow was great. Although not close to Billings, the ski area was worth the four-hour drive as was the soak in nearby White Sulphur Springs hot springs afterward.
