Still pretty quiet around these parts.  The river access remains closed through the end of the month (except for Bighorn and lower fishing acccess points).  After that, we’ll see where our things go from there.  The road blocks remain in place at all entrances to the valley as well.

THE WATER

It’s turned back into winter a few days a week and we’re starting to see that late snow accumulation.  So far, the water looks perfect for the late Spring and Summer flows.  The lake is still low with quite a bit of room to fill.  We’ll keep our fingers crossed!

THE FISHING

The Bighorn fish are finally getting a big break in pressure and should really help out in the long run.  We’ve been getting to sneak a little fishing in on the lower river and the fish we’ve found have been pretty impressive.  It will only be a matter of time before this place is busy again, but we’re starting to get bored like everyone else, so bring it on!
