Life is always changing. It’s like the weather in Montana. If you don’t like what you have just wait a few minutes.
Things change. Years ago, I was sitting in a tree stand wondering what I was was doing there. I was 15 feet high, uncomfortable, cold, and bored. Squirrels were my only company.
Suddenly, the squirrels shut up. In the distance, I could hear something walking.
Suddenly my bored mood became much better. A 4×4 white tailed buck was beelining toward my stand.
After hours of boredom, a great buck was in my sights! I drew and shot. Suddenly, all the “wasted time” became irrelevant. My buck was on the ground, and the wasted time was irrelevant.
The great thing about hunting and fishing is the concept of one more cast or one more minute. The next cast, or next few minutes, may be at the right spot at the right time. If you are sitting in your Fat Boy chair at home, guess what you will catch or tag. We have all had that moment that made us a believer.
Tomorrow is another day. Embrace this attitude, and odds are, you will fill your tags and dreams.
Good morning Sunrise!
