Congratulations to Will Brroks and Bexley Brooks!

Ten year-old Bexley Brooks. of St. Regis, shot her very first deer opening weekend of Montana’s rifle season!  She scoped herself during the shot, but that didn’t wipe that smile off of her face.  Bexley was a great supervisor as Mom (Kerilyn) gutted the doe.  Nice work!

The same weekend, Will, Bexley’s dad, filled his doe tag, too!  Will has been waiting a long time to hunt with his kids (he has a son, also), and this was definitely a special weekend.

The Brooks family has now filled two out of six deer tags, and they still have five turkey tags and two elk to go.  Mom and Dad already filled their bear tags in the spring.  They are a live-off-the-land as much as you can kind of family and appreciate all Montana has to offer.

Awesome work, Will, Bexley and Kerilyn!
