HELP PLANT TREES AT MILLTOWN STATE PARK ON EARTH DAY

MISSOULA – Join Milltown State Park staff on Thursday, April 22 to celebrate Earth Day by planting and caging  cottonwood trees. All interested volunteers should meet at Milltown’s Overlook (1353 Deer Creek Road, East Missoula) at 1 p.m. and RSVP to Jess using the information below.

The event will last for approximately three hours or until all trees are planted. Volunteers should be prepared to hike at least two miles roundtrip. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring your own work gloves.

Montana State Parks will follow recommended health department COVID-19 guidelines. If you plan on joining and for more information, please contact state parks’ Jess Martin at 406-542- 5531 or Jessica.Martin@mt.gov.
