There’s just something about reading angler’s fishing adventures that makes a person want to go fishing!
Here are some pics and a description of Steve Ayers’ 4th of July weekend at Fort Peck:
We spent the July 4th weekend over at Fort Peck, and the lake trout fishing was awesome!
We caught 85 lake trout over 3 days, and 55 just on Sunday alone! Nearly all of those were over 30″, and none were over 35″. It was the most fun we’ve had in a long time. All strictly jigging. We released 78 of them to swim another day. They were mostly in the 80 feet of water depth range.
