Here is a clarity report for the Yellowstone River as of August 23rd at 6:07am via Yellowstone Angler:

Clarity is looking much better in town and above today. It is still a little off, with the Lamar’s triple spike but still considered “green is good” water. Should be a good day for streamers, rubber legs, and nymphs. It might take another day for great dry fly action but it is clear enough to throw Hoppers in the afternoon. While the river has been muddy the fishing on the Spring Creeks and local/private lakes has been good.
