United Property Owners of Montana recently posted the following on social media:
Attorney General Austin Knudsen will facilitate a meeting in Malta on September 15 to collect public comment on APR’s proposal to “rewild” seven grazing allotments by taking them out of cattle production. This is a significant change and is a first step in APR’s plan to impose free-roaming bison on Montana ranchers.
BLM refused to hold a public meeting in Malta to take comments on APR’s proposal. Fortunately, Attorney General Knudsen has stepped forward to organize this meeting to facilitate comment to the agency. For instructions on how you can comment online, please visit: upom.org/blm-comments/
Public Meeting on APR’s grazing proposal to BLM: Wednesday, September 15 6:00 to 8:00 pm Malta High School Auditorium
