BIG FISH FILETS!!!

Like most fishermen I catch HUGE fish! Sometimes HUGE fish become a challenge to cook. Thick filets from Halibut, tuna, and other massive piscatorial critters are more challenging to cook.

I remember watching a guy filet a 150 lb. Halibut in Alaska and thinking, how can I cook this beast?

I have found the recipe to do just that. Whether you have a hefty filet of tuna, halibut, or whatever, try this filet buster best!

Simple recipes are always the best. It is easy to just get a fry pan full of oil and fry away but… What if you could make something more moist, special, and delicious?

Try this Big Fish Recipe

¼ cup of butter

1 medium sweet onion, chopped

2 lbs. of fresh or thawed thick filets.

1 ½ cups of sour cream

1 ½ cups of mayo

1 cup of crushed Ritz crackers

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Melt the butter into the bottom of a baking dish. Spread the onions over the melted butter and on top of the thick fish filets. Mix the mayo and sour cream and spread over the filets. Top with cracker crumbs. And because I am from Maryland, I sprinkle some Old Bay seasoning on top.

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Oh My. You have to give this a try!
