In a collaborative effort to bolster the warm water fisheries at Tiber Reservoir, volunteers from Walleyes Unlimited teamed up with the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) crews from Great Falls and Choteau. Their mission? To complete the Tiber Reef project on the Willow Creek Arm, a vital initiative aimed at sustaining and improving the reservoir’s aquatic ecosystem.

On April 24, 2024, these dedicated volunteers, alongside FWP personnel, successfully wrapped up the project, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing conservation efforts. The project’s completion underscores the unwavering commitment of both organizations to the preservation and enhancement of Montana’s natural resources.

Walleyes Unlimited, known for its dedication to fostering positive change in warm water fisheries, sees projects like the Tiber Reef initiative as essential steps toward ensuring the long-term health and vitality of aquatic ecosystems. Their message is clear: support your local walleye chapter and join the movement to safeguard our precious natural habitats.

Together, these two organizations exemplify the spirit of collaboration and stewardship that lies at the heart of conservation efforts in Montana and beyond.
