BOZEMAN – The Madison River Work Group’s second meeting will be tomorrow in Bozeman.
The meeting will focus on discussing and developing recommendations to the Fish and Wildlife Commission on the walk/wade and rest rotation sections of the river.
Additionally, the group will discuss recommendations on fishing regulation adjustments and permanent hoot owl restrictions. The group is also looking to discuss management of non-commercial use along the entire river.
The 12-member work group was organized by the Fish and Wildlife Commission, per an administrative rule and will be chaired by commissioner K.C. Walsh.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the FWP Bozeman office at 1400 S. 19th Ave.
