Rock Creek is fishing great right now and fall is in the air. Cold nights means you don’t have to get out at sun up any longer! We are seeing October Caddis, BWO’s and Mahoganies. Cloudy days really bring out the BWO’s and Mahoganies, October Caddis is happening later afternoons. Make sure to have some of all these if you want to be successful. Mahoganies are a sz 14-16, BWO’s sz 18 and October Caddis sz 10-12. Hopper Dropper is still on the menu as well, until we get a few really hard freezes at night, even then fish will look for them. Streamer fishing will start to pick up with fish being more aggressive as the water temps stay cool. Brown/Yellow are our favorite color streamers up here.
