The hunting of all mountain lions in hunting districts 320, 333, 331 and 392 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Thursday, Dec. 23.
The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.

The hunting of female mountain lions in hunting districts 390 and 391 in southwest Montana will close at one-half hour after sunset on Friday, Dec. 24.
The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting districts 318 and 335 in southwest Montana will close at one-half hour after sunset on Thursday, Dec. 24.
The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting districts 405, 447 and 471 in north-central Montana will close at one-half hour after sunset on Thursday, Dec. 24.
