The Captain and first mate Berny fished salmon on Sunday and came away with a big Zero or Goose egg, whichever you prefer.
But, Monday was a new DAY! They had nine salmon by 10:30am.
They had a 7.5 and a 16-pound salmon, but the rest were small. However, they had to wait for two hours before they got number 10, and it was worth the wait! It actually took most of the line off the reel, but Berny got it in! The whopper weighed in at 17 pounds. What a day. Salmon day Monday always get them up!
Black Jack cut bait was hot that day, and the big one was caught on a blue squid.
