Nelson Reservoir is 62% full. Inflow is 31 cfs and outflow is 345 cfs. Walleye fishing is good along weed lines and drop offs. 15’ is still the depth to key. Most anglers are pulling bottom bouncers with spinners or slow death rigs with crawlers. Crank bait fishermen are also doing well in 25’ to 30’ of water. Most fishing is taking place on the northeast half of the reservoir. Anglers are using the ramps at the state park and the northeast corner of the reservoir. ProTip: 1 to 1.2 mph is a good speed for spinners and slow death rigs.
