On Monday, the Captain had a chance to have Jason Mundel from Rip n Lips Guide Service jump in the boat to try and catch a salmon. Mundel is an excellent walleye guide, and he does a great job of salmon fishing for his clients too!  The salmon fishing was slow with Jason reeling in an 11-pounder in the afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday, Ben Galt, from White Sulphur Springs, joined the Captain.  Ben caught an 18.5-pound salmon on Tuesday and an 18-pound salmon on Wednesday morning.  They also caught some small salmon.  All of the fish were caught with their junk down over 100 feet.

The two bigger salmon were caught on a blue fly from Fort Peck Marina and a special blue white flasher from Lakeridge Bait Shop.

The 11-pounder was caught with a blue Hawaiian brads bait cup and a Mountain Dew green flasher.
