FWP News: CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING TO DISCUSS OUTDOOR RECREATION AND PUBLIC ACCESS

Billings— Outdoor recreation and public access are important to Montana’s way of life and economy, and those topics will be the center of attention at the upcoming Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 5 Citizen Advisory Committee meeting.

The CAC meeting is Thursday, Sept. 15 at Billings FWP office, 2300 Lake Elmo Drive, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. A public presentation featuring Beth Shumate, the assistant division administrator for Parks and Outdoor Recreation, will begin around 6 p.m. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Established in 1996, the CAC meets approximately 5 times a year from September through May and works with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks to provide information, ideas and initiatives.
