Nelson is 47% full. Inflow 317 cfs & outflow 0. Walleye fishing remains good. Stay close or in the weeds fishing 10’ to 15’. Main tactic still bottom bouncers with spinners or slow death rigs using crawlers. I’m throwing swim baits and ripping them through the weeds and doing well. Ramps are low so be prepared to wade. Pro Tip: if you fish heavy leaders 15# + and not doing as well try downsizing to 10# – . Don’t be afraid of the weeds, you may have to work a little harder keeping your line clear.
