Nelson is 55% full. Inflow is 58 cfs and outflow is 0. Walleye fishing remains good along the weed lines in about 15’ of water. Perch fishing in the deeper water is also picking up. Use small live minnows for best results in about 30’. The ramps are improving but be ready to wade while loading your boat. Pro tip: as reservoirs rise try fishing shallow 3’-8’ pitching crank or swim baits. Use your side finding equipment for best results.
